Research: Heidi S. Mortensen, a researcher at Fiskaaling, has published a new scientific article in Frontiers in Animal Science, an open-access journal that publishes original research which is rigorously and transparently peer-reviewed.
The article is part of the research topic Biology Meets Technology: Aquatic Animals in Novel and New Aquaculture Production Systems. The title is Exposing Atlantic Salmon Post-Smolts to Fluctuating Sublethal Nitrite Concentrations in a Commercial Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) May Have Negative Consequences.
Co-authors of the article are Elin Jacobsen and Amanda Vang from Fiskaaling and Jelena Kolarevic from The Norwegian College of Fishery Science.
