Five fellows from Jamaica, Nicaragua, Cuba, Malawi, and Sierra Leone have just finished their two-week exploration of Faroese aquaculture. Despite initial weather-related challenges, the group maintained a positive attitude throughout their visit to the Faroes.
This collaboration is a result of the partnership between Iceland and the Faroe Islands, supported by an international cultural cooperation program. As participants in Iceland's UNESCO-GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme, the fellows spent two weeks exploring different aquaculture topics through facility visits, lectures, and discussions led by Firum’s researchers.
We extend our gratitude to the five fellows from Jamaica, Nicaragua, Cuba, Malawi, and Sierra Leone for their active involvement and positive contributions during the two-week exploration of Faroese aquaculture.
