The new conference Knowledge for Sustainable Aquaculture, organised by Fiskaaling Ltd., was originally scheduled on 3 March in Hilton Garden Inn, Tórshavn. The conference now moves online, due to Covid-19 precautionary measures.
The conference addresses highly specialised issues in aquaculture, including presentation of latest knowledge and research results.
"The conference has attracted considerable interest, and we were looking forward to hosting the Knowledge for Sustainable Aquaculture ’21 Conference. New knowledge and research is paramount for the industry, and for other parties, too. This is why we decided to move the conference online on the original date, rather than waiting for the Corona situation to change,” says Jóhanna Lava Køtlum, director of Fiskaaling.
The conference will be organized in three blocks of about 1 ½ hours. The blocks are: Sustainable utilisation of the fjords, Lice and Fish welfare.
The Knowledge for Sustainable Aquaculture '21 online serves as a safe platform, giving access for all to the latest knowledge and research in aquaculture.
The conference is on 5 March, 2021. The conference language is Faroese.
